At the bottom of this page you will find our TCAA CALENDAR with our ongoing agenda. It will show you the dates and places of our Tuesdays Open Studio Plein Air sites and what demonstrators are coming. The Tuesday Painters is open to all TCAA members, but really, consider joining us if you're not a member yet!

For only $30. a year you get to join in in a lot of inspiration, outdoor painting, exhibits, cameraderie and MORE.

We are artists in every stage of creating. From the 'just beginning' to quite advanced. We love to paint and do whatever kind of creating we can. From beautiful scenes to still lifes to figure drawing to abstracted arts. You'll hear about upcoming exhibits. We'll feel your joy in winning awards as well as that awful feeling of (unnecessary) rejection we just can't help feeling if we don't get an award. We're simply a "works in progress".

We were sorry to hear of the passing of our friend and fellow artist, Maris Iverson
A Brief history - She was in the military and then became an art teacher. And after retirement we got to know her. We could always count on her to help critique our work as well as seeing what beautiful artworks she produced. Although she lived to the ripe age of 98 we will still feel her loss. 1918-2016

Tues. Painters is in it's Indoor Open Studio mode.
Get on TCAA's email list.
We all meet around 9:00 at the Tolland Art Center, 22 Tolland Green for indoor painting. Bring your own art supplies and ideas, lunch and drinks.
This is an open studio, everyone does their own thing.
We can relax in the glow of a couple of hours of painting, sketching, photographing whatever. Wonderful opportunity to both beginner and advanced artists. The tea kettle will be on! Contact Ronnie for more information

The 66th Annual Members' Show was held at the lovely Hall Memorial Library in Ellington in June.
This is an exhibit for TCAA Members that we've had since our beginnings over 66 years ago. Art is an ongoing, growing, inspirational and skilled talent amongst so many of us local people.
Joan Burbank did a fantastic job organizing the show and getting the many prizes. She had some great helpers that helped hang the show, brought food and did other jobs. Thank you all!
We have fun and several useful door prize gifts valuing several hundreds of dollars are raffled off. This show is not juried, so you could enter any wall hung media that you have done.
66 YEARS! Can you believe it!
This show is the backbone of Tolland County Art Association in it's mission of providing fine arts and exhibits in a local environment.
